Promoting inclusion and accessibility for persons with disabilities in Sri Lanka by developing community-based rehabilitation and empowerment centers in each district. These centers would provide skills training, accessible education support, employment assistance, mobility aids, and awareness programs to challenge stigma and promote equality. The goal is to ensure that persons with disabilities can live independently, access opportunities, and fully participate in society as equal citizens.

Promoting the protection and coexistence of Trincomalee’s unique spotted deer population by establishing community-based wildlife protection and awareness programs. The initiative will address key threats such as stray dog attacks, plastic pollution, and lack of clean water while fostering a sense of local stewardship toward urban wildlife. Activities will include creating safe zones around Fort Fredrick, setting up clean water and feeding stations, organizing waste management drives, and collaborating with local authorities on humane stray dog management.
The project will also launch education and eco-tourism programs to build awareness among residents and visitors about responsible interaction with deer and environmental conservation. The goal is to ensure the long-term survival of Trincomalee’s spotted deer while promoting sustainable, community-led coexistence between humans and wildlife.
